On the afternoon of September 3, 2025 (local time) in Geneva, Switzerland, Chinese high-end independent watchmaking brand BEHRENS collaborated with master independent watchmaker Vianney Halter to host a major new release at the Geneva Watch Days. The event featured the debut of their first jointly created timepiece—the Master Collection KWH Limited-Edition Watch. Mr. Xiao Mingcheng, Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Representative Office in Switzerland, was invited to attend and deliver a speech, witnessing this significant moment in the international development of a Chinese high-end watch brand.
Inspired by the founders’ encounter in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland, the watch draws inspiration from antique electricity meters with their distinct industrial aesthetic, integrating a signature square case and mechanical aesthetics into high horology. The hour display innovatively adopts the visual logic of the classic game "Snake," using the brand’s exclusive "ruby bearing micro-chain mechanical system" to guide a pixel-style serpentine chain around the dial, vividly recreating the fun of the game. The exterior packaging incorporates "Tetris" elements, evoking nostalgic memories.
The timepiece houses the newly developed BM06 manual-winding calibre, offering a 72-hour power reserve. It features an axial display system that integrates power reserve, day-night display, and minute display, while the caseback is equipped with calendar and moon phase display. The watch is paired with a quick-release two-tone strap. This collaborative edition is available in two versions—18K white gold and 18K rose gold—each limited to 9 pieces.
By integrating profound cultural heritage, forward-thinking creativity, and exquisite craftsmanship, BEHRENS is steadily advancing into the international spotlight of high horology, showcasing the extraordinary potential and boundless possibilities of Chinese high-end watchmaking to the world.
